Through a series of online videos, staff and physicians learn about the insertion and removal procedures and how to create a sterile field for the Eversense CGM System. Training is less than 30 minutes.

STEP 2: WEEKS 2 - 3
IN-OFFICE TRAINING
In-office training led by a Senseonics District Clinical Manager and District Business Manager.
- Hands-on training
- Education on the Eversense technology
- Defining and identifying technology
- Introduction of the 3 patients -2 weeks -3 patients (3-2-3) mastery methodology

STEP 3: WEEK 2
PATIENT IDENTIFICATION AND SCHEDULING
It is best practice to establish a procedure timeframe and a patient scheduling process within the first 2 weeks.
Establish an initial date for first Eversense insertions
Identify a minimum of 3 additional patients and schedule 2 weeks following initial insertion date (3-2-3);
Identify and schedule a minimum of 3 initial patients
Prepare for first insertions — Order supplies (see Eversense CGM Sensor Insertion and Removal Kit & Equipment List)
STEP 4: WEEK 2
PRODUCT ORDERING
& REIMBURSEMENT

Senseonics has a number of resources and partners in place to help with online and telephone ordering and reimbursement.
Log in to the Eversense Physician Portal and enter patient and insurance information
Contact Customer Order Services at 844-SENSE4U (736-7348), Option 1

STEP 5:
WEEKS 3 - 4
PROCEDURE
DAY 1
The Senseonics support team will be onsite to provide assistance on procedure Day 1.

Reviewing and debriefing post-insertions

Scheduling removal certification for post-90 days
